Tom Hingley is an accomplished singer-songwriter, author, and guitarist, widely recognised as the lead singer of Inspiral Carpets during the band’s most successful, classic era.

Joining the group in 1989, Tom became the vocal powerhouse of the Madchester movement, fronting the band for 22 years and singing on all 15 of their UK Top 40 singles, including timeless anthems like Dragging Me Down, Saturn 5, and the iconic This Is How It Feels.

His time with the group saw them headline major international tours and grace the main stages of Glastonbury, Reading, and Leeds. Lenny Kravitz famously praised his talent at the time, remarking that Tom "should be singing on Broadway."

Since launching his solo career in 2011, Tom has remained an energetic force in the music industry. Moving comfortably between energetic rock shows and intimate acoustic performances, his original music draws from a rich well of folk, soul, and blues.

Alongside his continuous touring schedule across the UK, Europe, and beyond, Tom is a published author, music educator, and prolific recording artist, with his latest solo work continuing to showcase his unmistakable voice and sharp songwriting.

Expect a spectacular evening of music, nostalgia, and stories from one of British indie music’s true mainstays.
